The treated water that results from being treated by DI resin will dry spot free. Used to treat water to 0 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and used to perform the final spot free rinse on many surfaces. Carbon 4.5 inch x 10 inch Water Filter Cartridge ProTool is mineral based carbon media in a polypropelene housing. Filter element designed to fit most standard 4.5" by 10” big blue style filter housings. Polypropylene end caps with compression gaskets are standard. It is effective in reducing free chlorine, bad taste, odor, THM, organics, hazardous chemicals and sedment filtration to 5 Micron. Depending on source water quality or flow rate, it needs to be replaced every 6 months or about 40, 000 gallons of water.
