PROTOOL CLEVER PRECISION SPRAYING SYSTEM

This water-powered spraying system perfectly mixes your chemicals at the mix rates that you choose. Often used for Mixing SH (Sodium Hypochlorite) at 12.5% and Sticky surfactant with water for cleaning structures, patios, playgrounds.

And just about any Cleaning Chemical that can be sprayed. The sprayer is capable mixing and spraying most chemical concentrates.

General Cleaning vs Mold/Mildew Removal

The Detergent, Soap, Degreaser or Disinfectant you use with the Clever Sprayer is performing the cleaning and or sanitizing.

The SH Sodium Hypochlorite at 12.5% (Strong Bleach) is often use used in the tote to remove the mold and mildew. Use soaps and detergents alone where there is no mold or mildew present. Several solutions ready in the 7 Gallon totes with different chemistry for the cleaning and mold removal you are planning.

Cleaning with Disinfectants, Detergents and Degreasers

Use the Clever Sprayer to mix and spray most cleaning solutions, either from the 7 gal. tote or draw directly from a chemical bucket or bottle with the whip draw tube.

Mixing Chemicals per their dilution rates

Set the Mix Ring to:

Premixes are required for 128 to 1 - 64 to 1 - 32 to one
10% to get a

0.8% 128 to 1 - 1.0 oz per gallon Note: a Premix use 1 gallon of Concentrate and 6 Gallons of Water in Tote.

6% to get a

1.6% 64 to 1 - 2.0 oz per gallon Note: a Premix use 2 Gallons of Concentrate and 5 Gallons of Water in Tote.

5% to get a

3.1% mix 32 to 1 - 4.0 oz per gallon Note: a Premix use 3 Gallons of Concentrate and 4 Gallons of Water in Tote.

Put Chemical in without dilution for these mix rates
5% is 20 to 1 6.4 oz. per gallon
8% is 12 to 1 10 oz. per gallon
10% is 10 to 1 13 oz. per gallon
13% is 8 to 1 17 oz. per gallon
15% is 7 to 1 19 oz. per gallon
20% is 5 to 1 26 oz. per gallon
25% is 4 to 1 32 oz. per gallon

House and Roof Mix for Cleaning Mold and Mildew
The amount of coverage will depend on the “mix".
A roof mix at 3% SH (starting with 12.5% in the tote) produces about 30 gallons of spraying Solution, About 1500 sq ft of roof
A house mix 1% setting You will get 70 Gallons of spraying solution from one 7 gallon tote, About 6000 sq ft of house or fence cleaning.
NOTE: Roof cleaning typically needs more saturation of the chemical so a heavier spray is needed but houses and fences, decks etc need far less product on them for a good clean so more sq ft per gallon coverage.
Your actual coverage will vary based upon technique and weather (colder and hotter days will both need more solution)
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Water pressure at the site will dictate flow.

At 60psi and above, you have great flow
At 50psi flow is adequate
At less than 50psi, you'll have flow, but the cleaning will slow down (a small boost pump can be employed to increase the pressure)
The system has a regulator to protect from pressure above 70psi

Sanitizing with a Disinfectant - 2 ounce Per Gallon Mix Rate

START OF JOB

1) Put 2 Gallons of Disinfectant Cleaner and 5 Gallons of Water to tote

- Note for Dirty Area add 1 Pint Bottle Of Sticky, Sticky will also help when more Dwell time is required.

2) Attach tote to clever injector

3) Attach a garden hose to the input side

4) Attach a delivery hose and wand to the output side

5) Adjust the percentage ring to your mix ratio

Set Dial to 6% this yields the appropriate Sanitizing Spray

6) Connect Tote to Clever Draw Tube and Turn on the Water Source

7) Press Air Release button on Top of Clever till water escapes

8) Start Spraying

START OF JOB SH Cleaning using 12.5% SH

1) Put 7 gallons of 12.5% SH in tote

- Add Sticky to tote

- Note for CDC Recommended Sanitization Spraying use 50% SH with 50% Water in Tote

2) Attach tote to clever injector

3) Attach a garden hose to the input side

4) Attach a delivery hose and wand to the output side

5) Adjust the percentage ring to your mix ratio

5% yields 0.3% SH Solution when Tote is mixed 50% SH 12.5 with 50% Water CDC Recommended Sanitization Spray

5% yields 0.6% SH Solution Spraying Solution

10% yields 1.2% SH Solution Spraying Solution

25% yields a 3.0% SH Solution Spraying Solution

6) Connect Tote to Clever Draw Tube and Turn on the Water Source

7) Press Air Release button on Top of Clever till water escapes

8) Start Spraying

Roof for Cleaning Mold and Mildew

YOU ARE DONE

Clear water rinse If you use a SH in your mix then rinse the Chemical Injector by disconnecting the draw tube from the chem tank placing in in a bucket of water Tune the Sprayer on again ans spray for 1 minute to rinse the injector and mixing chamber.

Optional Spray Final Rinse chemistry:

Keep a 7 Gallon tot of Final Rinse available

Premix --> 3 gallons of Final Rinse and 4 gallons of water and set to 10% Mix Ring on the Clever when you want to rinse an SH solution from building surfaces, especially consider this where the building has metal adornments.

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water. Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987. Proposition 65 became law in November 1986, when California voters approved it by a 63-37 percent margin. The official name of Proposition 65 is the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
