Hose Barb Banjo 1/2in to 3/4in MNPT
Polypropylene multipurpose rigid barbed hose fittings provide high strength and good resistance to abrasion and chemicals. These lightweight fittings are commonly used in multipurpose hose assemblies to convey fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, waste, saltwater, and cooling water. They have NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads on one end and raised ridges (or barbs) on the other end that grip the inside of hoses to hold them in place. They are secured with a clamp or crimped ferrule for a leak-resistant seal.
Multipurpose rigid barbed hose fittings and menders connect hoses to pipe in multipurpose hose assemblies. They are also used to repair damaged hoses to help extend their life. These fittings have raised ridges (or barbs) that grip the insides of hoses to hold them in place and are secured with a clamp or crimped ferrule to form a tight seal. They are commonly used for low-pressure applications in the food and beverage, marine, and chemical processing industries to convey air, fluids, and chemicals through a pipe system.
