ProTool Soft Wash Skid 12V

Advanced Metering Tank System for Soft Washing

Introducing our Softwash Skid with ProTool Metering Valves and 80 gallon SH tank, specifically designed to revolutionize the soft washing process. This comprehensive system includes a 80-gallon SH tank and is equipped with precision metering valves, making it the perfect solution for professionals in the soft washing industry.

Key Features:

Precision Metering Valves: This system features three metering valves for water, sodium hypochlorite (bleach), and detergent/surfactant. These valves allow simultaneous drawing of bleach and surfactant into your soft washing solution, ensuring optimal mixing and application.

Convenient On-Board Mixing: Mix surfactants directly at the control panel without the need for manual measuring or mixing in a separate tank. This innovative feature allows for on-the-fly adjustments of mix ratios depending on the surface being cleaned, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Dual 12V 90 PSI Pumps: The system is powered by two robust 12V, 90 PSI pumps with a 5 GPM open flow rate. When combined, they provide an exceptional flow, perfect for all your soft washing requirements. The dual pump setup ensures that even if one pump fails, you still have sufficient flow and pressure to complete the job. Dual pumps combine for 10gpm+ open flow and 90 PSI. This system pushes 5gpm through the 200ft of 1/2" hose, spraying gun, and tip.

Integrated Buffer and Concentrate Tanks: Includes a 7-gallon water buffer tank and a 7-gallon detergent/surfactant concentrate tank, providing ample capacity and ease of use for extended operations.

Safety and Efficiency: Designed to minimize chemical overuse and eliminate the need for manual calculations or chemical measuring, this system significantly reduces time and increases safety by keeping technicians away from traffic flow when adjusting surfactants or mix ratios.

Product Specifications:

  • SH Tank Capacity: 80 gallons
  • Water Buffer Tank Capacity: 7 gallons
  • Detergent/Surfactant Tank Capacity: 7 gallons

Mixing Setup  -  Metering Initial Setup

There is no exact science to where the valves are going to be set for your spraying needs. This will get you close to start and you will need to tune to your needs. The goal is to use as little sH and Surfactant as possible and still get a fast complete and well spread out spray that sticks to the surface from the wand.

The ratio is based upon the difference of the flow allowed by each of the metering valves, Water, SH Sodium Hypochlorite
the strength of the SH (12.5%, 10% Pool Bleach and 6% Retail Store Bleach in a bottle)

Adjust the Surfactant to use as little as possible,
but still see the sudsing  action and mix spreading action on the sprayed surface

When using 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite
For a 6% hot SH Mix, for very bad roof mold'
  • The Water Valve is set to 10
  • The Bleach Valve is set to 10
  • The Surfactant is set t0 1 to 2

When Targeting a 3% sH mix using 12.5%

The settings will be similar to this:
  • The Water Valve is set to 10
  • The Bleach Valve is set to 4
  • The Surfactant is set t0 1 to 2
When targeting siding, fences, decks and other building surfaces a 1% to 2% mix is appropriate
Start with these settings to Target a 1.5% mix
  • The Water Valve is set to 10
  • The Bleach Valve is set to 2
  • The Surfactant is set t0 1 to 2
Note: These settings are not exact but a good starting point.
As the SH ages it will lose potency, so older bleach, pool bleach that will cause you toi increase the SH numbers

Note on Using store bought bleach

6% Retail Bleach or stale 12.5% SH or Stale 10% Pool Bleach where the contents have degraded to  less potency.

If you are at 10 on the bleach and 10 on the water  and feel you need a stronger mix review below

This can easily happen with store bought beach that was on the shelf for 6 months...

Turn the water down from 10 to 6 and see how the strength looks when spraying. Are you getting the browning action you wated...
You can continue to turn the Water down until you get a good browning and clean rinse.

Watch the mix spread out on the surface
if the mold is browning nicely (dying) and is rinsing clean
you want to use just enough to get a good clean, but not waste the SH.
So with good browning and a clean rinse you have enough SH in the mix,
You can adjust the SH down until the browning is slower than you would
like and then adjust back up for a good browning action.

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.  These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water. Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987. Proposition 65 became law in November 1986, when California voters approved it by a 63-37 percent margin.  The official name of Proposition 65 is the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

The list of chemicals contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that include additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. Listed chemicals may also be used in manufacturing and construction, or they may be byproducts of chemical processes, such as motor vehicle exhaust.  For more information visit www.p65warnings.ca.gov/
