Jay Racenstein

Hi, I’m Jay Racenstein. My story begins all the way back in 1909, when Joseph Racenstein founded the company that now carries my name. Over the decades, I’ve grown right alongside this industry—always adapting, always innovating, and always supporting the professionals who make a living in it.

At my core, I believe in a few simple but powerful principles: education, safety, innovation, quality, and service to the industry. Those values guide everything I share. When I write, I’m not just putting words on a page—I’m passing along over a century’s worth of lessons, insights, and best practices collected from the field and from countless conversations with the people who keep this industry moving forward.

My goal is to make your work safer, more efficient, and more rewarding. Whether I’m helping you understand how to choose the right tool, breaking down the science behind pure water cleaning, or showcasing innovations that can make your day easier, everything I write is meant to give you confidence in the decisions you make.

When you see my name, know that it’s more than just one person behind the words. It’s the collective experience of a company that’s been here for generations—listening, supporting, and growing with the industry since 1909. I’m here to be your resource, your guide, and your partner as you take on the challenges and opportunities of this profession.
