Description
ProTool Solar Cleaning Van Skid — HydroPanel 3.0 RO/DI & Rotary Brush Power
Big Solar Cleaning Performance. Small Van Footprint.
You don't need a massive truck to clean massive solar arrays.
The ProTool Solar Cleaning Van Skid packs professional pure water production, dedicated rotary brush power, and commercial-grade hose management into a compact 48" × 48" footprint.
Designed for professional solar panel cleaning contractors, this purpose-built system combines a ProTool HydroPanel 3.0 RO/DI purification system, 3.1 GPM / 3,000 PSI pressure washer, and 100-gallon slimline pure water tank into one organized, van-friendly platform.
With two rear-facing stainless steel hose reels and a carefully arranged equipment layout, everything is designed to make setup, cleaning, and teardown simple.
No unnecessary complexity. No oversized footprint. Just the equipment you need to get panels clean.
Four feet by four feet. A whole lot of solar cleaning capability.
HydroPanel 3.0. Pure Water Production Built Right In.
Professional solar cleaning starts with the right water.
The integrated ProTool HydroPanel 3.0 RO/DI purification system produces purified water for solar panel cleaning, helping deliver clean rinses without leaving behind the mineral deposits associated with untreated tap water.
Instead of relying entirely on prefilled tanks or DI-only filtration, the HydroPanel uses reverse osmosis and DI polishing to produce purified water from a suitable incoming supply.
The system can continue producing water while you're working, helping replenish the onboard holding tank and extend operating time.
And because reverse osmosis removes much of the dissolved mineral content before DI polishing, it can significantly reduce DI resin consumption compared with DI-only purification.
Pure Water Advantages

Make pure water on the job. Stop treating DI resin like it's free.
3.1 GPM at 3,000 PSI. Built to Power Your Rotary Brush.
A professional rotary solar brush needs a dependable water supply and the right hydraulic performance to operate effectively.
This skid includes a 3.1 GPM / 3,000 PSI pressure washer designed to supply the water-powered rotary brush system.
The pressure washer draws purified water from the integrated holding tank, providing a dedicated supply for brush operation.
Paired with a compatible J. Racenstein rotary solar cleaning brush, the system supports mechanical agitation for removing dirt, dust, pollen, and other buildup from solar panel surfaces.
The pressure washer provides the rated capability for the brush system; actual operating pressure at the brush depends on the brush, hose configuration, and operating conditions.
Let the brush do the scrubbing. That's literally what you bought it for.
100 Gallons of Pure Water. Or 80 for Smaller Vans.
Space is valuable inside a work van.
That's why this skid uses a slimline water tank designed to provide useful cleaning capacity without taking over the cargo area.
Available Tank Configurations
-
100-gallon slimline tank — standard configuration
The pressure washer draws from the onboard purified water supply, while the HydroPanel 3.0 can replenish that supply when connected to a suitable feedwater source.
This combination helps reduce interruptions and provides flexibility for different jobsite water conditions.
Actual runtime depends on water consumption, incoming supply, purification output, and the selected tank size.
More water where you need it. Less wasted space where you don't.
Two Stainless Steel Hose Reels. Right at the Rear Doors.
Nothing kills a good workflow faster than climbing over equipment to find your hoses.
The ProTool Solar Van Skid includes two rear-facing stainless steel hose reels, positioned for convenient access through the van's rear doors.
Dedicated Hose Management
-
High-pressure hose reel for the rotary brush supply
-
Water input hose reel for feeding the purification system
The rear-access layout helps keep hoses organized and simplifies deployment when arriving at a jobsite.
No digging through the van. No hoses piled around the tank. No unnecessary setup drama.
Open the rear doors. Pull your hoses. Get to work.
A Smarter 48" × 48" Layout. Every Inch Earns Its Keep.
Compact doesn't have to mean cramped.
The ProTool Solar Van Skid is built around a 48-inch × 48-inch equipment footprint, with the pressure washer positioned beneath the rear-facing hose reels.
This arrangement keeps major equipment consolidated while preserving access for routine service and operation.
The HydroPanel, holding tank, pressure washer, hose reels, plumbing, and supporting components are integrated into a single skid platform.
Designed for installation in suitable commercial vans, including compact models where available space and payload capacity allow, the system makes efficient use of valuable cargo space.
Four square feet by four square feet. Not an inch wasted on nonsense.
Simple Equipment. Serious Commercial Capability.
Not every skid needs three engines, six remotes, and a control panel that looks like a spaceship.
Sometimes the smartest build is the one that does exactly what you need.
This system focuses on the essentials:
-
High-output RO/DI purification
-
Dedicated rotary brush pressure washer
-
Onboard purified water storage
-
Stainless steel hose reels
-
Organized plumbing and component access
-
Compact van installation
It's a practical setup for contractors who want to clean solar panels professionally without investing in a much larger multi-service platform.
Less complexity. More cleaning. That's the idea.
Built for Professional Solar Cleaning.
Residential rooftop arrays. Commercial installations. Larger solar projects.
The ProTool Solar Van Skid is designed for contractors who need a dedicated, repeatable solar cleaning workflow.
Its combination of purified water production and rotary brush power supports cleaning methods that remove accumulated dust and debris while helping minimize mineral spotting during rinsing.
Actual brush selection, cleaning technique, water pressure, and panel compatibility should follow the solar module manufacturer's cleaning requirements.
For contractors building a dedicated solar cleaning operation, the skid provides a professional foundation that can grow with the business.
Clean panels. Organized equipment. Ready for the next array.
Built the ProTool Way.
A compact skid still deserves serious construction.
ProTool builds are engineered around practical equipment placement, clean plumbing, operator access, and long-term serviceability.
Our standard skid construction approach uses an all-aluminum welded base with a bolt-together frame design, providing a durable foundation and accessible components.
This solar cleaning platform incorporates industrial-grade fittings, stainless steel components, and corrosion-resistant plumbing designed for professional exterior cleaning environments.
Built in the USA by ProTool / J. Racenstein, the complete skid is assembled and system-tested before shipment.
And ProTool skids and systems are backed by a lifetime warranty, subject to applicable terms and exclusions, along with long-term technical support.
Because compact shouldn't mean compromised.
Small footprint. Commercial construction. Real support.
