What’s Not Covered
The ProTool Warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Cosmetic damage (scratches, fading, chips, etc.)

Shipping damage

Abuse, misuse, drops, collisions, or accidents

Damage from poor or improper maintenance

Improper storage (e.g., freezing, rust from neglect, weather exposure)

Unauthorized modifications or alterations

Use with non-authorized chemicals or solutions

Compacted or fouled membranes due to lack of flushing

Any use outside the product’s intended purpose

Who Is Eligible?

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only.

Proof of purchase is required to validate and process any claim.
Acceptable proof of purchase includes an order number, invoice number, or receipt from an authorized ProTool dealer or J. Racenstein.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim, please provide:

What happened, when it started, and how the product was being used.

Clear images of the affected area, overall setup, and any relevant details.

You can submit this information through our support team or warranty contact form.
What Happens After You Submit a Claim
Once we receive your information:

Our team will review the issue and may ask for additional details or basic troubleshooting.

If the claim is approved under warranty:

We will provide replacement parts and, in some cases, cover labor at our discretion.

In many cases, we will send parts ahead of time, depending on the nature of the issue and the history of the equipment.

ProTool reserves the right to determine whether:

The product is repaired,

Parts are replaced, or

The product is replaced or upgraded.

Turnaround times and specific resolutions may vary depending on the claim and parts availability.
Customer Responsibilities
To keep your ProTool warranty valid, you agree to:

Perform proper maintenance as recommended.

Avoid any modifications to the equipment that are not authorized by ProTool.

Avoid abuse or physical damage, including drops, impacts, and improper mounting or tie-down.

Use appropriate chemicals and solutions compatible with the system.

Properly flush membranes where required.

Store the equipment responsibly to prevent avoidable damage.
Failure to follow these responsibilities may void warranty coverage.
Limitations & Legal Stuff

ProTool’s responsibility is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts or products, at our discretion.

ProTool is not liable for consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to:

Downtime

Lost income or profit

Missed jobs or contracts

Damage to other equipment, property, or materials

This warranty gives you specific rights; you may have additional rights that vary by state or country.
Returns vs. Warranty
The warranty covers defects and qualifying failures after purchase.
Your standard return window applies to:

New, unused items that you wish to return under normal return policy terms.

Returns are handled separately from warranty claims and may be subject to restocking or other conditions as listed in our return policy.
