The award-winning Blue Ocean® Static Rope from Marlow’s LSK (Low Stretch Kernmantle) range combines high-performance durability with sustainability. Crafted using Marlow’s exclusive Blue Ocean® yarn—made from 100% recycled plastic waste—this rope is an eco-conscious solution for professional rope access, abseiling, and work positioning tasks.

Due to its polyester construction, the Blue Ocean® Static delivers significantly lower elongation than traditional nylon ropes. This results in more precise positioning, reduced bounce, and less climber fatigue, as less energy is absorbed by rope stretch. The lower elongation also minimizes the 'drop' effect when transitioning weight from a working line to a backup rope, and reduces wear caused by rope movement through hardware.

Designed for work positioning only, this rope is not intended for fall arrest. When used as a backup rope, a suitable energy absorber must be incorporated to avoid dangerous dynamic loads.
