As window cleaners begin to get prepared for the colder months, the orders for gloves are beginning to role in.

There are really two primary things to keep in mind when selecting winter gloves: temperature and flexibility. In the cold weather, it’s imperative to keep your hands protected from both the elements and the water so that they are warm and dry enough for you to work safely and efficiently. However, you've also got to be able to move your hands and control your tools. 

Most winter gloves are made from Neoprene , a synthetic polymer resembling rubber that is often used to make wet suits, and that is resistant to oil, heat, and weathering. It's also commonly used in many weather-resistant products, including gloves for window cleaning. Neoprene stays flexible in colder temps, which allows for a better range of movement.

These handy, insulated, waterproof gloves are easy to pull on and off while detailing windows or working with water fed poles.
