The Kong Harness X5 is a premium full-body work harness designed for rope access professionals and technicians who demand maximum safety, comfort, and performance. Featuring five attachment points, the X5 is suitable for rope access suspension, work positioning, restraint, and fall arrest applications, making it an exceptionally versatile solution for complex work-at-height environments.

Engineered for long-duration use, the X5 combines lightweight construction with outstanding ergonomic comfort. The generously padded waistbelt provides excellent lumbar support, while bright, high-visibility colours on the back and lower sections enhance worker visibility. Multiple adjustment points ensure an optimal fit across a wide range of body shapes, including an XS size specifically developed to accommodate smaller users and the growing demand from female operators.

The innovative dorsal attachment point follows the natural curvature of the back, improving comfort when seated, leaning against a backrest, or wearing the harness beneath a jacket. It also facilitates easier ground dragging during rescue and evacuation scenarios. Foldable lateral attachment points reduce bulk, while five integrated gear loops—two rigid front loops and three flexible rear loops—provide convenient equipment organisation without compromising comfort.

This top-of-the-range version features a secure design free of opening elements except when using dedicated tools. The upper and lower sections are connected via a LOTOR openable ring (included), allowing compatibility with chest ascenders. Closed leg loops with adjustable sliding buckles provide a secure and comfortable fit. The off-centre chest ascender connection point prevents interference with devices attached to the ventral point, improving efficiency during rope access operations.

Additional features include NFC technology for simplified product traceability and faster inspection management, and certification testing up to 150 kg in accordance with EN 813 requirements.
