How to Use Gutter Butter
Application is simple:
- Pre-wet the surface and surrounding areas, paying special attention to windows.
- Dilute Gutter Butter based on the cleaning application.
- Apply using a low-pressure mist.
- Brush stubborn areas if necessary.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Never allow the product to dry on the surface.
Gutter Butter can also be safely run through a pressure washer pump.
Suggested Dilutions
Gutter Brightening: 10:1 — approximately 17 oz. per gallon
Vinyl Siding Restoration: Start around 24 oz. per gallon and increase as needed.
Metal Roof Restoration: Start around 24 oz. per gallon and increase as needed.
Always start with the recommended dilution and adjust based on the surface and severity of the buildup.
Before You Start
Always test Gutter Butter on a small, inconspicuous area before cleaning the entire surface.
For best results, use it in temperatures above 50°F and always wear appropriate PPE, including gloves and eye protection.
Do not use Gutter Butter on polished aluminum. Use caution on stucco and Dryvit, as the product may cause a change in color.
